Wolfgang is a tattoo studio in Portland, Oregon, specializing in many different styles of tattoo art including American Traditional, Japanese Traditional, abstract/watercolor and realism but we are not limited to these styles and love to bend, blend and reinvent our artwork into unique pieces for you.

Owner Zachary Bailey moved all over the U.S. learning different styles of tattooing and ways to improve as an artist. In 2017 made he made his way to Portland.

“After 15 years of soaking up the knowledge and working with some really amazing artists, it was time to open a studio with everything learned from the early shops that took a chance on me, the shops where I learned what hard work really was, and the later shops where I built a loyal clientele. A group of people who really trust me to decorate them with my artwork.

I taught a few people how to tattoo over the years, I also became a father along the way and learned how to balance work and life and eventually a business. A lot of the people I met I still speak to regularly, I still ask them for advice and they have helped in so many ways. So I take this seriously and this studio reminds me of all those memories and people who took the time to get me here.”

“I love creating tattoos of all kinds, using different techniques I’ve learned from traditional styles and combining that with all the different forms of art that inspire me. The subject matter can be meaningful or just fun to look at, with details that will keep you intrigued by your artwork each time you look at it.”
